Welcome!

Bonjour tout le monde!

Welcome to my blog, Carrie in Paris, where I will be posting updates of my study abroad. The name is somewhat self-explanatory, but basically, starting at the end of March I will be in Paris for 10 weeks. I will also be in Morocco for five days, and who knows where else I'll get to go! Before leaving for Europe, I'll say a little about the program and what this blog will (hopefully) entail. I know that I might get super busy and caught up in study abroad life, but I'm going to try really hard to post frequently.

I'm a sophomore at Carleton College, heading with other students from my school to study French. We will be taking three courses, four days a week, about French language and culture. We also learn through "cultural experiences" like visits to cathedrals or attending concerts. This is a place for me to say a little bit about what I'm doing, what I'm learning, and how I'm feeling about my experiences as a whole. There will also be numerous pictures, so if you don't feel like actually reading what I have to say you can just look at the pictures. (I won't be offended, I promise.)

That's all I have to say for now! I absolutely cannot wait to immerse myself in French language and culture, and next time I write, I'll be in Paris!
